ASHG 2026 poster, Reviewers’ Choice recognition and session moderation

At ASHG 2026 in Montréal, I presented our poster Integrating long-read assemblies and ancestry graphs to map Neanderthal-introgressed structural variation in humans. The abstract received Reviewers’ Choice Abstract recognition.

Our ongoing research combines long-read assemblies with ancestry graphs to investigate the contribution of archaic introgression to structural variation in present-day humans.

I also moderated the platform abstract session Move Over SNPs: Structural Variants, Repeat Expansions, and More.
